SpotzCity, a virtual community marketplace that spotlights entrepreneurs and small businesses through its omni channel network of diverse and minority owned enterprises, has created a way for Chicagoans to be spotlighted and rewarded for their outdoor, exterior holiday home and business storefront designs. SpotzCity’s first-ever Holiday Decorating Contest, which opens December 1, is free and open to any resident and business storefront in the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs. “Holidays for many are a time to shine, celebrate, and honor traditions,” said SpotzCity co-owner Sherell Fuller, “After the last 20 months we’ve all experienced, we thought we’d spread a little cheer with acknowledgment and recognition for Chicagoland’s efforts with festive, outdoor holiday decorations.” SpotzCity will offer three cash prizes, $200, $350, $500, plus the honor of bragging rights for the winners. The photos of winning homes and business storefronts will be featured in a SpotzCity social media campaign, as well as on the marketplace website.
