By John Gibson, WNIN November 24, 2021 Three more COVID 19-related deaths are reported in southwest Indiana. The Indiana Department of Health added one fatality in Vanderburgh County and two in Dubois County on the Monday dashboard. Infections continued to rise, with 73 added in Vanderburgh and 27 tallied in Warrick County. Vanderburgh's seven-day positivity rate among individuals held steady at about 17.5 percent. The number of hospitalized COVID patients in the 12-county region of southwest Indiana held at 77, with about a third of intensive care beds available. Across Indiana, 26 more fatalities were recorded along with more than 3,700 new infections. More grim coronavirus numbers have been reported in western Kentucky.
