French High School Classes of '73-'76 reunion has been rescheduled. Join us now October 15-16, 2021 at the MGM Elegante' Hotel, Beaumont. Due to Covid-19 pandemic with social distancing recommendations, the 2020 FHS Classes of 1973-1976 Reunion has been postponed until 2021. This EventBrite page is now updated with the 2021 reunion information. The French High School Classes of '73-'76 will now be gathering for a group class reunion October 15-16, 2021 at the MCM Elegante' Hotel. Three events are being planned and pricing is based on EARLY versus LATE Registration, the number of events that are being attended and if a guest will be attending with you. Planning of an event of this magnitude requires food preparation and seating for the projected number attending. This can only be accomplished through pre-registration. Best pricing will be during EARLY registration through September 22nd. LATE registration pricing starts on September 23rd and will remain open through October 6th. Registration and payments will be processed through EventBrite and will include state taxes and an EventBrite convenience fee added at the time of registration. Remember - registration ends on October 6th and NO At-Door Registration will be available. Sign-up for one or all, but remember pre-registration is a must. So look over the festivities and plan now! Events planned include the following: • October 15, 2021, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.: Friday Night Howdy will start off the festivities with an informal gathering of classmates and friends. FHS Classes '74, '75 and '76 will be held in adjoining MCM Elegante' Ballrooms. FHS Class of '73 will be hosting their Friday Night Howdy at an alternative location; see their EventBrite page for specifics for this event. MCM Elegante’ hors d’oeuvres will include Swedish meatballs, egg rolls, finger sandwiches, chips and dips. A cash bar will be available for beverages. Cost for this event will be $25/person during EARLY registration and will cover the cost of the venue, food and decorations. LATE registration will be $35/person. Registration is required for the MCM Elegante’ event and will be managed through this EventBrite website. Remember - registration ends October 6th and No At-Door Registration will be allowed. • October 16, 2021, TBA: FHS Golf Tournament is being planned Saturday morning for those who are looking to reconnect with classmates on the golf course. Teams can be formed or single players can sign up to form teams. Stay tuned for more specific details on how to register for this event. • October 16, 2021, 7 p.m. - Midnight: FHS Classes of '73-'76 Denim & Pearls Class Reunion will be held at the MCM Elegante' Hotel Ballrooms, Beaumont, Texas. As the title implies, dress can be from Denim & Pearls. Registration fee for admission will cover the buffet dinner, music provided by DJ Mike Oldbury, decorations and other festivity expenses. Dinner buffet menu will include chicken parmigiana, London broil, mixed greens salad, fresh fruit, twice-baked potatoes, home-style green beans, rolls, bread pudding, cheesecake or pecan pie. Coffee, iced tea and water will be included. Additional beverages will be available for purchase through the cash bar. EARLY registration pricing will be $50/person. LATE registration will be $75/person from September 22nd - October 6th. Remember - registration ends on October 6th and NO At-Door Registration will be available. Registration: To purchase tickets to the events, click “Select A Date”, click on a date, then select which tickets you wish to purchase. For your convenience, tickets for both events will be listed under each dated “Tickets” tab. Consequently, if you are planning to attend both Friday and Saturday, you may choose to select your Friday event ticket (10/15/2021) and your Saturday event ticket (10/16/2021) under the October 16th “Tickets” tab. An order summary will be available to review prior to checkout with payment processing through credit, debit or PayPal accounts. For those wishing to pay by check, the following information must be sent with your payment: Name, event/s attending, class year you are registering to attend, address, and phone number (if not on your check) plus an email address. Once your information is manually entered in the EventBrite system, a confirmation email will be sent to you showing your registration. Deadlines and registration fees are the same as above and the check must be postmarked by the deadline date to be considered for EARLY and LATE. Checks should be made out to FHS 2021 Reunion and mailed to FHS 2021 Reunion-'74, PO Box 12651, Beaumont, TX 77726. Hotel: A block of hotel rooms is being held under the name “French High School 2021 Reunion” for October 14, 15 & 16. Standard rooms rates will be available for $109/night for two doubles beds or one queen bed. An upgrade Suite will be available for $139/night. Registration fee minus $25 administrative fee will be refunded upon cancellation request. EventBrite convenience fees are non-refundable.
