Description

JOLIET, IL — A 33-year-old man was arrested early Monday morning at the Riverwalk Homes public housing complex after Joliet police say he approached the security guard shack holding a butcher knife. Responding officers arrested Michael Lewis-Fox on charges of disorderly conduct. Around 4:20 a.m. city police learned of a disturbance at 358 North Broadway Street, which is the Riverwalk Homes property, formerly called Evergreen Terrace. "Officers determined that Lewis-Fox had approached the security guard shack while carrying a butcher knife," Joliet police reports show. "Lewis-Fox was angry that his husband's vehicle had been towed from the property. Officers made contact with Lewis-Fox, who no longer had the knife, and placed him into custody without incident." Joliet police indicated that Lewis-Fox was released from custody on an I-bond.
