DARIEN, IL — Darien police arrested five people, including two from Darien, on DUI charges last week. Here is information from the reports: Eray Alin, 49, of Darien, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 7500 block of Cass Avenue on charges of aggravated DUI, obstructing identification, driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lights. According to a police report, an officer saw that Alin's car was without headlights. Alin was taken to the DuPage County Jail.Artur Pshedzial, 31, of Darien, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Friday at Cass and South Frontage roads on charges of DUI, speeding, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and crossing into the median. According to a police report, Pshedzial was swerving his car. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Deborah McClelland, 72, of Downers Grove, was arrested about 1 p.m. Nov. 16 near North Frontage and Cheese roads on a charge of DUI. She was released and given a date to appear in court. Gilberto Lopez-Sosa, 25, of Cicero, was cited about 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the 7500 block of Cass Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to yield. Lopez-Sosa was released and given a date to appear in court. John Northrop, 32, of Oregon, Illinois, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. Friday near northbound Interstate 55 and Lemont Road on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. According to a police report, Northrop crossed the left lane line multiple times. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
