Hi, I am a pro audio studio owner, producer, mixer, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter and performer. I came to Nashville to pitch records to the industry. I need to form a three (or four) piece rock band for an executive showcase demo. The genre is 90s rock. We will do three songs. They are my originals. I am bass, electric, Hammond Organ and vocals. We will likely do it in my home studio named the "Lion's Den". One track I am on bass, another guitar, and the final Hammond. I need another guitarist, bassist, drummer, and potential novelty instrument (strings, unusual instruments, etc.) Performance will come in two parts: pre-recorded video and audio (in-studio) and live in-person for executives. The project includes ramp-up time for the band to become tight, compelling and receive creative direction from me. I do not know how long this will be as I have not heard the band yet. You must be creatively flexible and comfortable being told what to do. Please shower, do not come on drugs, and communicate. I do not want to hear about your favorite records. I prefer younger players because they like the structure of being told what to do and they are open-minded. You can apply in two ways. First, you can ask for a market performer's rate, cede all rights to the recordings, and expect not to be part of future representation with the label. Second, you may perform for no rate, and discuss with me the possibility of you being included in further negotiations. I will be asking for domestic US touring duties, and resources to make one album a year. I am not sending out any demos for you, sorry. But I am requiring you to send a demo to me. In your demo, please include your goals for this project (please be honest), your creative inclinations, and recordings of your performances. I will evaluate every applicant and send back honest feedback. Expect that this may take some time, as it will involve my auditioning multiple roles as I function as a project manager with everybody's schedule, as well as being creative director.
