Here are the top stories in Mobile today: For the past two weeks, Waterfront Rescue Mission Director Rick Fisher and his team have been preparing to give Mobile and Pensacola's homeless and needy population a hot Thanksgiving meal and some love through ministry and live music. The mission's plan is to feed 5,000 people during the holidays, on top of the 1,500 meals they serve daily across the Gulf Coast. (FOX10 News) In an effort to 'Enjoy Mobile,' part of Mayor Sandy Stimpson's 100-day plan, the city is having its very first Iron Bowl Block Party Downtown. Dauphin Street between Hamilton and Franklin will be closed for the event Saturday. The fun begins two hours before kickoff at 2:30 p.m. (NBC 15 WPMI) Mobile Fire-Rescue Department (MFRD) extinguished a commercial fire on Nov. 24 at Merchants Transfer Company on Paper Mill Road.
