Bowie Tribute Seeks Lead Guitarist

Locally established David Bowie tribute band, now entering its 6th year, is currently looking to enlist a new lead guitarist. 2022 is looking to be a busy year with celebrations of what would've been his 75th birthday and the 50th anniversary of his iconic Ziggy Stardust album. We're eying at spring/summer to hit the road to perform in conjunction with these happenings. Bowie's career had seen him use a diverse range of guitarists from the likes of Earl Slick, Adrian Belew, Robert Fripp, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Reeves Gabrels and most famously Mick Ronson. We're looking for a guitarist that is versatile in covering the styles of the aforementioned while remaining tasteful and song friendly. Each member are all involved a regular gig/project aside from this one and booking of shows will be determined by their schedules. Currently looking at rehearsing in either West Pasco, Pinellas or Hillsborough County. Must have reliable gear (Guitar, Amp, Pedals/Pedal Board) and transport (It doesn't matter how you get there, it's the showing up part that counts). Backing vocal ability is a plus but not a must. Must have a great attitude and have the ability to work well with others. Especially with another guitar player. A sense of humour goes a long way too.
