Paid Research Study for Transgender Women in DC/MD/VA

LITE Plus is a study looking at how stress and stigma shape health outcomes for transgender women, and we are currently recruiting new participants in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. If you are a transgender woman over 18 years of age, please consider calling our study staff to see if you are eligible for LITE Plus. If eligible, you will participate in LITE Plus for 2 years with study visits every 6 months. Study visits include surveys, clinical measures (height, weight, and waist circumference), a blood draw, and (for eligible participants) an analysis of stress hormones found in your saliva (spit), which participants will collect at home over 2 days. Each study visit is compensated at least $50, and you can earn $300 - $450 for completing the two year study. We can also cover transportation costs for some participants.
