ALPHA Landscapes is looking to add a Fleet Mechanic / Yard & Fleet Manager to our growing TEAM. If you have previous mechanical experience, are organized, a self-starter and enjoy an independent work environment we have the position for you! Benefits include: Competitive starting wage depending on experience ($20-30/hr) Tools Provided PTO & Paid holidays Year-Round Work Employer Match 401K retirement program Employer provided life insurance Health/dental/vision insurance packages The Ideal Candidate Should Possess: Working knowledge and repair skills for trucks, small engines, and light construction equipment Ability to maintain records of fleet maintenance program via excel Organizational skills/discipline Ability to operate, trucks, trailers, and skid loaders Ability to work 2nd shift (2 PM-10PM) OR weekends April-Nov (Regular hours over winter) The Day to Day Stuff: Maintain routine fleet program via oil/filter changes, DOT inspections, routine maintenance checkups, ect. Diagnose, troubleshoot, procure parts, and repair trucks, trailers, skid loaders, tractors, and other small landscape construction equipment, both in the shop and in the field Maintain organization of the shop and yard including equipment and material inventory.
