My husband and I spent the day trying to find a family to gift an uncooked Thanksgiving dinner. I came across a single Mother recently out of the hospital due to a broken leg with 9 kids (The oldest being 17) .The whole family was so sweet and humble. I left their house with my heart aching seeing they had next to nothing with just enough entertainment to occupy the younger kids in a 1 bedroom apartment. I have limited resources myself and give what I can when I can but tomorrow morning I'm stretching myself thin and going to the store to purchase what food I can. If anyone has any household items and simple pantry like meals to donate that would be awesome. I'm willing to pickup or meetup. Something in me just wants to do whatever I can to help them. Appreciate and be grateful for what you have. Happy Holidays
