I currently have 7 sulcatas and 1 russian 3 cherry heads. They range from 60LB to 1LB. I even send updated photos a few times a year if wanted. Depends on size i might give an adoption fee. I grow my own fruit and vegetables so 2/3 of the year they eat mostly from my garden. Once they are football size they are free to roam the yard. Depending on species they have their scheduled day. I have 2ft rods every 5" around my complete yard. There is dozens of different spots they can choose to sleep. They find a spot they like and go to it each night. Full privacy fence with Several security cameras and lights. I take my husbandry VERY seriously. My wife thinks im overboard. I been in the reptile world for 18 years and i have never meet someone that has every reptile. Its almost always a certain types "snakes -- turtles/tortoise -- lizards -- spiders/scorpions/centipedes". If someone is taking everything then there is a huge chance they are reselling them and they dont care who they go to. They see $$ vs a pet. Once I take an animal in, its with me till I or they die.
