Production Operator/General Labor (Airport) – Inland Technologies INLAND TECHNOLOGIES IS NOW HIRING OPERATORS AT PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (PIT) PAY: $18.00/hr. TYPE: FULL TIME Hours: Flexible AM/PM Shifts available Our season runs from October through June! Apply at: Benefits: • Referral Bonus - $300.00 (No limit on referrals) • Flexible Schedule • Competitive wages • Paid Training • Company uniforms provided What you will do as an Operator at ITI: • Monitor and perform quality assurance on glycol processing equipment to assure optimum production and efficiency • Maintain glycol processing equipment as per Inland’s maintenance manuals and SOP’s in order to perform any and all maintenance functions as directed by management • Compliance with all environmental laws and permits • Abide by Health and Safety principles by using issued and available safety equipment as required by SOP’s in the day-by-day operations of the facility • Work cooperatively with airport authority and outside contractor(s) while representing yourself in the best image for the company What we are looking for: • Ability to read, write, speak and communicate effectively • Ability to interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals • Ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle in inclement weather • General mechanical competence and ability to effectively use hand tools • Ability to maintain a positive and good-natured attitude • Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent; • Valid US Driver’s License; • Driving record that meets Company insurance standards. • Must be able to pass 10-year background check for airport security clearance; Why this role is important for our work: Inland Technologies is a full-service airport environmental compliance and ground support specialist. Core services include spent aircraft deicing fluid management and wastewater management programs, water systems operation, and manufacturing of aircraft deicing fluid and industrial glycol. The Production Operator/Plant operator will work as part of a team to provide a range of customized equipment and services for the collection and recycling or collection and disposal of spent aircraft de-icing fluid (Glycol). Complementing these environmental programs is a suite of airport ground services and off-airport environmental programs. Physical Demands: • The position involves sitting and standing for extended periods of time as well as lifting bending, kneeling, climbing, using hands to control tools and feel objects, reaching with hands and arms. May be necessary to work at heights up to 40 feet. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Apply at: Inland operates as a federal contractor or sub-contractor at this location.
