Great Company! Great Opportunity! National Service provider focusing in the logistics industries is growing and in need of driver's helpers/movers of appliances and installers. No experience needed. We load and unload trailers - full of appliances at 4:00 am. Then we assign you to a truck driver as a helper. We ride in a box truck and visit different locations around Portland area! - construction job sites / new buildings. We pay for your time in each route! Responsibilities: Unloading trucks with a hand truck/dollies Secure and brace appliances safely Basic math and reading skills. WE DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF POWERED EQUIPMENT TO MOVE ITEM. NO FORKLIFT, NO ELECTRIC PALLET JACK. EVERYTHING IS DONE BY HAND USING HAND TRUCKS/DOLLIES. Our job is to help the driver to deliver appliances and perform basic installations in residential, new buildings and commercial properties. WE OFFER MANY HOURS OF OVERTIME AND OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN AND GROW AT WORK. Qualifications: Employee must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds when necessary Must have a reliable transportation. SHIFT STARTS DAILY AT 4:00AM and ends when the truck is back in the warehouse. Many overtime hours!! Able to work MANY HOURS Monday through Friday.
