Masses for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day What to Expect for Christmas: • Families will need to reserve a spot for the Christmas Mass of their choosing on Eventbrite beginning Friday, December 11 at noon. For those who do not have access to a computer or need assistance with this process, we encourage you to please contact our office and one of our staff members will be able to help. • Each Christmas Mass will be limited inside to those who have made a previous reservation for the particular Mass. Those who wish to attend but do not have a reservation will be seated in our overflow chairs outside - with the possibility of being able to be moved into the Church if there is room available. • Before coming to Mass, please make sure you or any member of your family does not have a fever or is exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19. If you have any reason to believe you might be sick or exposed to COVID-19, please remain at home as an act of charity to others. • Please plan on arriving to Mass no earlier than 45 minutes before it begins. We will need time to sanitize the Church between Masses and can only do this when the Church has been cleared out. When you arrive, our ushers will help escort you to your seats. It will be helpful to have a copy of your reservation (printout or on your phone) available when you arrive for Mass. If you arrive before the previous Mass has concluded, we ask that you remain in the parking lot until the previous Mass has cleared out. • It is important to arrive no later than 10 minutes before Mass starts. After this point, the ushers will begin to fill in the empty seats in the Church from those who are in the overflow chairs. • When you arrive, there will be hand sanitizer stations located throughout the Church and (per Cardinal DiNardo’s memorandum), we ask that you sanitize your hands before entering the church. • All who attend the parish over the age of 10 are required to wear a mask for the safety of all. This includes our parishioners, as well as our clergy, staff and ministers. Please make sure your mask covers both your mouth and your nose to maintain appropriate safety standards. • One of the things the Cardinal has outlined is the importance of receiving communion in the hands rather on the tongue. As you come up, please maintain the proper 6 feet distance with the person in front of you. Once you have received communion in the hand, it is expected that you step to the side, pull your mask down, and consume the host before returning to your pew. There are marks on the floor about ten feet from the priest distributing communion. • There is an option for families with young children to claim a space in one of our family rooms.
