OP/This conversation over Biden and oil prices is idiotic. A president can do things to in fluency oil prices yes, but a president does not set crude oil or gasoline prices at the pump. Just as Biden does not set prices on lumber, broccoli, beef or clothing he does not set fuel prices. Oil companies lies are the ones exploiting us. Oil companies have NEVER reported a quarter of losses since the 1970's. No pile executive has ever missed their bonus for lack of profit. I own a business. My business has had break even years, my business has had good years and my business has had great years. Oil companies have a GREAT year EVERY year recording profits in the tens of BILLIONS. You can use Biden as a scapegoat if it makes you feel better, but the reality is, you are being exploited/gouged by Chevron, Shell, BP, Mobil etc. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We were energy independent and producing natural gas and oil at record pace. Not good for Russia and china. Trumps policies were good for US and bad for our enemies. Biden cheats his way in and the first thing he does is shuts down pipelines. He bans drilling in alaska. He bans fracking. He will regulate coal plants out of business and you think this has nothing to do with gas prices? And now he uses our oil reserves as a fix? 50 million barrels is 3 days !!! It will do nothing. Just like printing trillions of inflated dollars will do nothing but make them more powerful and your cost to go up. Exploited? Gouged? What has happened to the price of oil since Biden came in and created a shortage? The market price has gone up. This is good for the oil co and bad for us. If I did not know better I would think that Biden planned this to help his friends in China and Russia so that they will give Hunter a raise. How bad will it get before you open your eyes.
