A service of prayer, scripture, candlelight, and Holy Communion as we celebrate the birth of the Christ Child Welcome to St. Thomas Lutheran Church! We hope you will join us on Christmas Eve, December 24, at 5:00 p.m. As we prepare to gather on Christmas Eve, please remember that all in-person worship services at St. Thomas follow New York State COVID-19 safety protocols: To ensure adequate social distanceing, attendance will be limited to 30 persons in the sanctuary.Masks are required to enter the building. Upon your arrival, your temperature will be taken. Unison responses and congregational singing are not permitted at this time. You are invited to pray along silently during those parts, and to reflect prayerfully on the words to the hymns. Members of the same household may sit together in the pews. Members of different households sharing a pew must maintain a distance of six feet.Your health and the health of those around you is important. Therefore, if you can answer yes to any of the questions below on Christmas Eve, please do not come to the church, and instead join the service via livestream on the St. Thomas Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SaintThomasLutheran. Do you have a body temperature above 100.4 F? *Do you currently have symptoms of a respiratory illness such as coughing, sore throat, or shortness of breath? *Have you and/or any members of your household been instructed to self-quarantine? *Have you or a member of your household had close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or who is a Person Under Investigation (PUI) for COVID-19 within the last 14 days? *Have you or any member of your household visited and returned in the last 14 days from a country for which the CDC has issued a Level 2 or Level 3 travel designation? *We look forward to seeing you on Christmas Eve.
