We are a welding/assembly shop in Crofton MD, and are currently seeking a contractor to help with miscellaneous tasks around the shop, which we have just moved into. This is a 1099 contractor gig. Please note that you will need to fill out the W-9 form in order to do this gig. Pay: $15/hr, paid via your preference of PayPal or check, every 5 days at least, sooner if needed Hours: As a contractor, you can choose when you want to work, but work will be offered on a day-to-day basis as needed. At the time of offering, it's up to you to accept or decline. Timing is flexible between 9am-6pm. Location: Crofton, MD - must have own transportation Examples of work tasks: - Assemble storage racks and other office furniture (we are moving in now) - Mechanical maintenance of mobility scooter devices - Assembly and disassembly of simple scooter devices - Lifting of heavy items (at least 50lb) may be necessary - Sanding/finishing/cleaning metal parts of devices Please respond with the following, by email or text message: -Full name -Phone number -Email address -Brief (one sentence) overview of your background proving mechanical inclination -How soon you can start -General availability (for example "Any time Mon-Friday" or "After noon any day of week" etc)
