Job Duties: include those listed below as well as all others as assigned Production assembler: • Read and interpret assembly instructions • Update and maintain assembly drawings and procedures for each assembly part number • Solder/weld Jumpers and connector leads per specifications. • Assemble battery groups into containers using prestock or shrink wrap processes. • Accurately label battery assemblies • Maintain quality control by completing testing procedures • Prepare assembly packs for shipping Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: • Ability to multitask • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. • Soldering experience; or ability to learn • Ability to stand and sit for long periods; often on concrete • Ability to perform repetitive tasks • Attention to detail and legible handwriting • Self-starter • Great attendance Pay and Benefits: $17.00 per hour Excellent benefits to include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, life insurance, long- term disability, vacation and holiday pay! Shift: Monday - Friday 1st shift - potential for OT Qualification/Experience: • High School diploma • 1 year of assembly experience preferred
