The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services and logistics fields, is currently hiring for the following position in the Decatur, Alabama area: MATERIAL HANDLER / WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN $200 SIGN ON BONUS!!! Qualified applicants will possess the ability to perform the following: • Can change forklift batteries as needed • Operate grinding machine to prepare material for processing • Load material and operate hydraulic guillotine to prepare material for processing • Load bagged material into silos • General maintenance and cleaning as requested or assigned • Cut material by hand as needed • Operate forklifts in accordance with company policy • General housekeeping, order and arrangement' JOB DESCRIPTION: • Safely work in a team environment • Work 12 hr. rotating shifts including weekends and holidays or 8 hour shifts on days M-F. • Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds • Must be able to climb stairs and equipment safely • Work in hot and cold environments at times • Be flexible to work many job requests during the shift • Work overtime as needed to fill vacancies • Stand for extended periods of time • Obtain forklift certification and demonstrate safe and efficient use of forklifts • Wear all appropriate PPE as required • Have steel toed shoes on at all times • Comply with all general site rules Applicants must also possess the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and other requirements for site entry.
