Non Emergency Transportation company is seeking a dispatcher to help give high level of service to everyone who needs our services. We transport wheelchair and non emergency stretcher clients to medical visits. In order to to that well, I need a dispatcher who can talk to our customers over the phone with care, as well as scheduling all of drivers work and daily trip schedules. Daily a dispatcher builds and edits the driver's schedules to keep our customers appointments. Good prompt communication with other people is needed. Ability to see and improve schedules as they happen is a needed skill. Ability to stay calm and reason while problem solving is another needed Skill. Ability to answer phone calls promptly and "overcommunicate" is needed. Previous driving experience will help a dispatcher to be sharper and more capable, but is not necessary! We can train the right individual to learn our system. The dispatcher will work with several other dispatchers in a team setting to achieve the goal of good transport services. Most likely will be four 10 hour shifts.
