Total Vision continues to grow though acquiring independent optometry practices and supporting their purchasing needs. The distribution center is a critical function that the organization is looking for the right team member to execute on the daily operations for their practices.
Total Vision currently has built out a distribution center to support its value frame lines and are looking to expand its operation to encompass more of the frame board to better support their 40+ locations.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Executes day-to-day operations for Total Vision’s “start-up” distribution center.
· Replenishes frames for Total Vision’s 40+ optometry locations that have recently transitioned to centralized frame board management.
· Supports the Purchasing Manager and Frame Buyer with administrative duties such as entering invoices to Practice Management system, loading frame models, stocking frames onto DC shelves, tagging frames for new locations.
· Communicate with Offices on a day-to-day basis any questions regarding Lab/Patient orders.
· Work with purchasing manager to implement PO process to better track and manage invoices and payment of statements from accounts payable.
· Process vendor returns and defective exchange frames monthly.
· Improve inventory processes by utilizing Total Vision’s shared Practice Management System and DC module through reporting, audits, and communication with Practice Managers and Inventory Specialists
· Strong organizational and communication skills required.
· Distribution Center experience and optical experience preferred.
