A fun hockey game in memory of Evans Spear. Small donation encouraged for the Evans Spear Memorial Fund. The post Turkey-Day Evans Spear Hockey Classic is back again! Every year the day after Thanksgiving (SATURDAY THIS YEAR) Evans' friends and family host a hockey game is his honor. Anyone is welcome to join in the event. Two teams are chosen at random and play three periods with ice makes between each period. We have Ice at the Family Ice Center from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday November 27th. (Big thank you to Family Ice Center in Falmouth for donating the ice time) We will have blue and white hockey jerseys. We'll plan on hanging on to them for next year - but if you love the shirt and want to keep it, thats great too. This event is donation based. If you are able we'd love you to throw a donation in the pot that will go directly to the Evans Spear Memorial Fund (www.evansspear.com).
