Be ready, to enjoy great food, company & conversation! Join us on Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, for an Innovative Community Event Examining Inherit Discrimination in the Healthcare System. Helping Oppressed & Marginalized Communities to Elevate, Inc., fondly known as HOME, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit created and led by, and for, people who face compounded disparities that impact their health and quality of life. Our Purpose: Our formation was a response to community-wide inequities in healthcare that disproportionately impact people of color, LGBTQ+ people, and people at the intersections of other identities who also face health disparities rooted in social factors, such as implicit bias and discrimination.
