Congress Heights’ Small Business Saturday Holiday Marketplace will feature 30 local entrepreneurs makers and creators selling unique gifts, jewelry and accessories, ornaments and holiday decor, greeting cards, gift books, skincare, home decor, specialty foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, sweet potatoes pies, fried and smoked turkeys, home cakes and much more! The marketplace will be held at 2700 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE (On the St Elizabeths Campus – Entrance in the Red Lot at the corner of MLK and Magnolia Street SE) on Saturday November 27, 10 am until 4pm. Lots of Ways to #ShopSmallShopLocal Congress  Heights  Community  Training  &  Development  Corporation  {CHCTDC)   is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization,  incorporated on April 20, 1988, under the laws of the Government of the District of Columbia.  CHCTDC was founded for the purpose of improving the quality of life of Washington, D.C. residents in economically depressed areas by providing employment opportunities that would aid in the reduction of unemployment and underemployment by promoting self-sufficiency.  These thrusts would be realized through educational, vocational, job readiness, and job placement opportunities to improve residents' capabilities to compete in a competitive job market.
