Get into the holiday spirit with a food drive benefiting Beans & Bread and holiday crafting! Join us at Peabody Heights Brewery on Saturday, December 11th for a morning of crafting to benefit various organizations around the city and a food drive to benefit Beans & Bread! We will be collecting non-perishable food donations to benefit Beans & Bread, a day resource program that helps the community "in the areas of housing, health, mental health, recovery, and employment, helping individuals experiencing homelessness obtain housing and reach their full potential." Suggested donation items include: Peanut butterJellyCanned soupCanned fruitCanned vegetablesCanned stewCanned fishCanned beansPastaRiceSugarFlourPancake, biscuit, muffin, cake mixesSalt & pepperIn addition, we will be doing some holiday crafting to make cards, decor, and decorate mugs for various organizations throughout the city including Believe Big, Meals on Wheels, Kennedy Krieger, and Beans & Bread. Come out and help brighten the spirits of our neighbors in need this holiday season!
