Paradise Parking Plots is a community garden in South King County where refugees, immigrants, and the local community can gather to build relationships with their neighbors, nurture economic independence, and increase access to fresh, culturally appropriate foods. In addition to the 50 plots, the garden includes a food forest, a bioswale, and raingardens in an effort to protect our watershed and promote environmental stewardship. Thank you for your help in continuing to build and improve our shared space! Learn more about the garden and other World Relief services here: https://worldrelief.org/seattle/our-work/resiliency/garden/ We seek to see refugees and immigrants welcomed by community, rooted in community, & empowered for community. World Relief Seattle has worked since 1979 to empower local churches and community members to serve refugees and immigrants in the Greater Seattle Area. Originally founded to care for those fleeing war in Southeast Asia, we have since grown to resettle refugees from almost 50 countries. We are encouraged by the many churches, businesses, and individuals who use their resources and ingenuity to enhance the lives of refugees and immigrants throughout Western Washington.
