You're Invited to Celebrate Our Groundbreaking in Pigtown! Join us for our "Home for the Holidays" Groundbreaking in Pigtown! Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake will be having a Groundbreaking Ceremony on the vacant lot of the 1100 block of Ward St., as we celebrate the start of constructing 3 homes there! We'll be celebrating in partnership with Paul's Place Groundwork Kitchen. The event will be held on Thursday, December 16, and will include remarks from Habitat leaders & community partners at 10am, followed by a reception with light fare at Groundwork Kitchen at 11am.
