Join the Backcountry Together Community meetup at the Winter Park Venture Out Fest! Hang out with us and even go on an inbound uphill tour! Join us at the Venture Out Fest at our Backcountry Together Meetup! Backcountry Together is a commuity and organization that hosts meetups that aim to lower the barrier to entry to backcountry skiing and splitboarding for BIPOCs. We invite BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) & Allies to all our events. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beginners: Beginners who have not tried backcountry splitboarding or skiing before are free to join us! Make sure you can ski or snowboard down blues at the resort and hike at a moderate pace. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us! There are a limited beginner spots for this event due to the limited amount of meetup leads available. Please sign up early to ensure you get a spot! Experienced: Experienced backcountry splitboarders and skiers are welcomed to join for the meetup and uphill tour.
