"Dont Hush the Violence"Black Tie Affair HR MASK invites you to our 4th annual Awareness Gala "Dont Hush The Violence", Black Tie Affair. Three recipients whom have been affected by violence within their community will receive the Shaquille T. Turner scholarship. Every year HR Mask gathers in rememberance of Shaquille T Turner whom was taken from us on 12/12/2017. On that night we will also grace you with words from Keynote speaker Michael Lighty as well as some sound tones from a live band and a local comedian as your host. We will have food, raffles and a cash bar while the band grace us with music. We will also honor a student for the Lisa White Scholarship as well for Domestic Violence. Join in the silent auction from local artists, Teen artist Makayla Bell, Youth artist Jamera Brickhouse and local Artist Yashayah Goodwater The climate that we are in violence has increased and we are continuing to lose lives, we still have a high rate of gun violence that has went unsolved throughout our communities. How many more, we will continue to be the voice of all lives loss for the families left behind, when a life is taken we take another loss.. so let's think about confliction resolution and how to bridge the gap. We also will have a book signing for " Residue Of War" with some powerful queens as authors including our CEO Shana Turner, come out and purchase your copy, and get a autograph from your authors..all proceeds go back into our community works. To be the voice of all lives lost and the families left behind.
