Chef and Sous Chef Needed for Plant-based Event

OmniFoods is looking for an experienced chef for the Plant Based World Expo, a two-day event in New York City from December 9-10, 2021 to help prepare & sample our new plant-based OmniPork & OmniSeafood product lines. We would love to find someone passionate about plant-based cuisine to join us for this event! As a member of our team, you would play an instrumental role in helping us to launch at our first trade show in the United States for thousands of attendees! We will be having ongoing events in the East Coast region and would love to form an ongoing partnership with the right candidate. Please visit our IG page @omnifoods.global or our website to learn more about us: Qualifications & Requirements include: - Experience with pan and air frying food, stir fry, veggie prep & general confidence in culinary skills - Experience with cooking in large scale and fast-pace environment such as events and catering - Strong time management skills and comfort with working in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work efficiently with minimal direction, and highly organized to work neatly in a small space - Handle all cooking & cleaning duties each day, including prep for the next day in advance - Able to travel to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan, NYC, NY. - Excellent communication skills, dependable, & a team player - Interest in plant-based cuisine Hours: Thurs. December 9 - 9am to 5pm and Fri.
