Annual event to offer support and education to elder caregivers in Acadiana.
UPDATE:
The Elder Care Summit has a new date! The Family Tree is pleased to announce that after much thought and discussion with our venue (UL Student Union) we will be rescheduling this year’s summit to Friday, August 6, 2021. We intend to offer the same great speakers and topics to a full audience for in-person education and learning next year when it is safer for all of us to come together.
To supplement the summit this year, we will be offering a free webinar discussion in November (Caregiver Awareness Month). This webinar will be provided in two sessions by our counselor, Breanna Spriggs, LPC. More details to come on what this will look like and the specific dates and times for the webinar.

Join The Family Tree as a trusted Partner in Aging as we host an Elder Care Summit at the ULL Student Union on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 8:30am – 2:30pm. The speaker, along with breakout sessions will address the often confusing and sometimes complicated topics caretakers experience when managing elder care. Join the hundreds of expected attendees and dozens of vendors as we continue the discussion on this topic.
