Description
Mike O’Keefe has shared the stage with Maria Bamford, Bo Burnham & Ian Black, who were all very nice and complimentary to him. Mike O’Keefe is a young comic who prides himself on his original brand of self-deprecating jackasserey and a tireless work ethic. A former radio host, punk rock lead singer and college student (Graduated. Boom.), O’Keefe has made a name himself in the national comedy scene with multiple appearances on Sirius XM Radio, which numerous car owners and truckers seem to have enjoyed. He has been vaunted as a “Comic to Watch” in both the Chicago Tribune and Detroit’s 944 Magazine. O’Keefe has also had the privilege of sharing the stage with such acts as Maria Bamford, Bo Burnham and Michael Ian Black, who were all very nice and complimentary to him. When Mike is not touring the nation’s top comedy clubs and smelly dive bars, he makes his home in Chicago where he has adopted the nickname “The Pride of Rockwell Avenue”. He performs regularly all over the city in a myriad of different shows, including Comedians You Should Know and Chicago Underground Comedy in addition to enjoying the local cuisine immensely. His energetic stage presence and irreverently charming material keeps audiences on their toes and in stitches(yes, both of those things). With influences ranging from Don Rickles to Steve Martin to Patton Oswalt, it’s easy to see that Mike has heard of at least 3 other comics. Brad Stewart began his comedy career shortly after moving to Los Angeles from Nebraska in 1995 and winning 1st place in comedy contest. He beat out hundreds of comedians to win $500. Brad used it to register his car in California. Since that time Brad has performed at many different clubs and theaters all over the country to rave reviews. From The Nokia Theater in Los Angeles to the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City, Brad has entertained many diverse audiences with his high energy, observational style of humor. In early 2010 Brad had the honor of becoming a favorite opening act for comedy legend Joan Rivers. Joan said Brad is "so talented and a joy to work with" Brad has also opened for The Temptations, Jon Lovitz, Keith Sweat, Rob Schneider, The O'Jays, Barry Manilow, and 80's rockers Loverboy. In 2012 Brad was picked by TV Icon Marlo Thomas as a "Comedian to Watch" for the Huffington Post. Brad's comedy is a mix of his observations about life and his love/hate relationship with pop culture. Music is a big love of Brad's and a lot of his comedy comes from his frustrations with the state of popular music which should be relatable to anyone with ears.
