Description
Carmela's comedy is influenced by all the greats: Redd Foxx, Moms Mabley, as well as the physical comedy of Lucille Ball & Carol Burnett. Carmela Anderson has been doing comedy on and off stage her whole life but the last few years she has really been making a name for herself in the Omaha comedy scene. She was on Zoolarious for the first time in Sept. of 2019 and we loved her so much we asked back to headline 3 months later. She was booked for June of 2020 but some big global pandemic or something happened. We are so excited to have her back to headline for her second time in 2021!! Carmela's comedy is influenced by many of the greats from Redd Foxx to Moms Mabley to Paul Mooney as well as the physical comedy of Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett. She wears these influences on her sleeve while still maintaining her own unique voice. As a kid she always found the funny in everything, which would always get her in trouble. Her material is from her life, the things she sees and hears … true-life sh*t, and she likes to both write jokes and also just wing it on stage. She is always an audience favorite on whatever show she's on and you don't want to miss her third time headlining the show. THIS SHOW WILL CONTAIN A LOT OF ADULT LANGUAGE AND CONTENT $10 at the door only Brad Stewart began his comedy career shortly after moving to Los Angeles from Nebraska in 1995 and winning 1st place in comedy contest. He beat out hundreds of comedians to win $500. Brad used it to register his car in California. Since that time Brad has performed at many different clubs and theaters all over the country to rave reviews. From The Nokia Theater in Los Angeles to the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City, Brad has entertained many diverse audiences with his high energy, observational style of humor. In early 2010 Brad had the honor of becoming a favorite opening act for comedy legend Joan Rivers. Joan said Brad is "so talented and a joy to work with" Brad has also opened for The Temptations, Jon Lovitz, Keith Sweat, Rob Schneider, The O'Jays, Barry Manilow, and 80's rockers Loverboy. In 2012 Brad was picked by TV Icon Marlo Thomas as a "Comedian to Watch" for the Huffington Post. Brad's comedy is a mix of his observations about life and his love/hate relationship with pop culture. Music is a big love of Brad's and a lot of his comedy comes from his frustrations with the state of popular music which should be relatable to anyone with ears.
