Successful completion of this class meets and exceeds the State of Florida's training requirement for concealed carry license application. Yes, successful completion of this class will qualify the student for applying for a Florida concealed carry license. This class teaches the actual handling, use and firing and storage of a shotgun for home and self defense. In addition, in-depth instruction is provided on the purchasing considerations of a shotgun, as well as, the selection of ammunition and ammunition safety. This class includes 1 - 1 1/2 hour live-fire range training. You will experience the firing of various types and gauges of shotguns. This class appropriate for ages 12 and up.
