Prospective Member event where you'll have the chance to meet women from our league and learn more about membership! The Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale invites all prospective members to come sip and shop with us! If you are looking to serve your local community and develop personally and professionally, then come out to Bid Dog Station on December 2, 2021 to learn how the Junior League may be right for you! We ask everyone to wear their uglisest/tackiest holkiday sweater to get in the spirit! This event is free! Please RSVP in advance. The Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale prides itself on training new members to be effective volunteers and leaders in our community. Our organization provides women with the opportunity to participate in comprehensive training programs and workshops that encourage an understanding and appreciation for the Fort Lauderdale area. As a member of the Junior League, you will meet like-minded women, participate in impactful projects, expand your leadership skills, and make lifelong friends. Membership in the Junior League is an invaluable networking and professional development opportunity and we are excited to share it with you! Prospective members must meet the Junior League's objective criteria to be considered for membership: - Must be 21 years of age or older -Reside in Broward County or within a 40 mile radius. -Possess an interest in volunteerism and a commitment to community service. -Possess an interest in developing her potential for voluntary community participation.
