You Had Me at the Hook As a writer, it is our job to grab our reader's attention - and keep it. In this workshop we will discuss the importance of creating an effective "hook" at the beginning of your story that will draw your reader in, as well as how to use hooks throughout your piece to keep the reader engaged. We will go over the different types of hooks writer's can use, and even create our own!
