Medfield's Seventh Annual Holiday Stroll: Friday, December 3, 2021 Juried Marketplace of 40 Artisans with 15 venues along Main Street (Rte.109), North Street, Park Street and North Meadows Road (Route 27). The Holiday Stroll returns for the seventh year on Friday, December 3 from 4-9 p.m. with its juried marketplace of makers, artists and designers in this free, festive, family event. You'll find beautiful handcrafted gifts from 40 artisans located at the Medfield Public Library, United Church of Christ and Zullo Gallery. Experience the spirit of the season while enjoying M.E.M.O.'s tree lighting and "Joy to the World" singing contest at Baxter Park, along with food trucks, carolers and more at 15 downtown locations. Adding to the merry mix, area business will open their doors to offer complimentary cookies and hot chocolate or cider, as well as crafts and other interactive fun for all ages. These include Timeless Treasures, Sethji's and Kindred Art Gallery along Park Street, hosting lively music and delicious treats, as well as Be Charmed, Rockland Trust, Brothers Marketplace and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices on North and Main Streets, serving up holiday specialties and photo ops with Frosty. Stroll between these festive stops and visit the historic Dwight-Derby House for antique sleigh pictures with "reindeer" helpers, and enjoy the sounds of a cappella groups Trills 'n Chills and Cats & Boots on the front lawn at 5:30pm. Among the noteworthy attractions, Medfield TV will transform its studio into a beautiful winter wonderland scene set up for fun photo ops, video tricks and unique activities. New this year, Ice Effects will demonstrate live outdoor ice sculpting at the library gazebo. Steve Rosen has been sculpting for 30 years for thousands of events including Boston First Night, The Stanley Cup Finals and the Nagano Winter Olympics. All sites offer FREE admission, and free parking is available at several locations within easy walking distance. The Holiday Stroll is presented by The Cultural Alliance, a Medfield-based non-profit organization established in 2015 to support artists, expand cultural opportunities and nurture the creative community. The Holiday Stroll is made possible, in part, by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
