Press release from the City of Cheyenne: November 22, 2021 CHEYENNE – The City of Cheyenne has announced their trash and recycle pick-up schedule for Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 25th. Scheduled trash and recycle pick-up on Thanksgiving will instead take place on Saturday, November 27th. Please have your trash and recycle containers out by 6:00 a.m. The Solid Waste Transfer Station and Household Hazardous Waste (220 N. College Dr.), Compost Facility (3714 Windmill Rd.), and Happy Jack Landfill (1416 Happy Jack Rd.) will all be closed Thursday, November 25th due to the holiday and reopen on Friday, November 26th.   For more information, please contact the Sanitation Division at 637-6440.
