Description To keep us all safe amidst COVID-19, we are restricting attendance to 49 seats in the church, by reservation. Welcome Back to Unity Bay Area Houston! If we sell out please get a gathering room ticket and we move you into the sanctuary as seats become available. We are thrilled to be inviting a cautious return to our sanctuary and sacred space as a spiritual family on Sunday, . We recognize that not everyone will feel ready to come so we are grateful for our live-stream options for Sunday Services will continue. Please know our concern throughout this closure has been your safety and well-being. We take our responsibility to provide a loving, safe environment seriously. These have been unprecedented times for all of us and our focus as a board and as a staff has continued to be the highest welfare of all as we have found new ways to reach out, connect and serve. Now, we ask that those that do feel ready to return to our Celebration Service be clear that they are well and free from any runny noses, coughing or fever. We also invite those at a high risk that feels in any way compromised to please continue to watch from the comfort of your homes. We invite you to follow your inner guidance and to know we will do all that we can to ensure a sanitized, safe environment as we come together. We, of course, need your help to make this possible. Our survey indicated that more than 65% of those who answered feel ready or are leaning toward returning with safety measures in place. We will be working to create as much space as possible and still remain in alignment with the guidelines recommended by Church Mutual Insurance, the CDC and protocols from the State of Texas for reopening Houses of Worship along with our own evaluation of what is most prudent. The accommodations include:  Proper Sanitizing of our spaces before and after each gathering  Safe distancing  Face Masks  Temperature Takers at the door  Hand Sanitizer Stations  Attendee Sign In  Seating Reservations by Sign-Up Genius or a phone call. Currently, we are opening spaces in our Sanctuary up to full capacity with 6 feet of Sacred Spacing. We will have options for couples or families to sit together.  52 Congregant Spaces 1 Minister  1 Platform Assistant 3 Music Team 5 A/V and Live-stream Teams We will accommodate some overflow in the gathering room where we will have a few extra seats that will meet the same criteria allowing friends to watch in real time on the large screen TV as it is live in the sanctuary. We will continue to suspend coffee, food or gathering times. We ask that you refrain from our usual hugs, handshakes and touching. We will leave a basket for your offerings rather than pass our offering bags. Singing will only be done while wearing masks. Whew… and we will thrive together as we create safety and connection even through all the safety precautions. Our hearts are bursting with love and blessings for all of you as we thank you in advance for your agreement to follow the protocols for everyone’s well-being if you do choose to attend during this time.
