Press release from the City of Waukee: November 18, 2021 All City of Waukee offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no garbage/recycling collection for City customers on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 25). Neighborhoods with Thursday/Friday trash collection will be delayed to Friday/Saturday.
