Press release from the City of Ames: 11/22/2021 2:30 PM An informational meeting is planned for property owners and experienced developers seeking additional information about the development of a small lot industrial subdivision partially supported through Tax Increment Financing (TIF) assistance as part of an Urban Renewal Area. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8 via Zoom teleconference. The minimum size of the entire subdivision is 10 acres. The proposed location must be within the Ames city limits.      "Developing a new small lot industrial subdivision will provide options for economic growth in Ames that fills an identified need," said Justin Moore, Planner with the Ames Planning and Housing Department.
