LONG VALLEY, NJ — A water main break triggered an impact to water service on a section of Fairview Avenue on Tuesday morning, according to the township.

Washington Township Municipal Utilities Authority reported on Tuesday morning about the water main break, saying it happened on Fairview Avenue and was then in the process of being repaired.
WT MUA: A water main break on FAIRVIEW AVENUE is being repaired, with water service impacted between 100-158 Fairview & Scenic Falls Rd. 6-hour repair estimate.— Washington Township (@WashingtonTwp) November 23, 2021 Water service, according to the Municipal Utilities Authority, is "impacted between 100-158 Fairview Avenue and Scenic Falls Road."
Initially a six hour estimated repair time, the repair in actuality, took approximately four hours.
