Description

Press release from the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board: 2021-11-22 The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) still requires masks or face coverings for all vaccinated and unvaccinated staff and/or patrons (age two and older) in shared common spaces inside MPRB buildings. MPRB buildings include recreation centers, Parade Ice Garden, Northeast Ice Arena, The Trailhead and the Kroening Interpretive Center. Paper masks will be provided for those who do not have their own. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance recommends fully vaccinated people wear masks indoors in areas of substantial or high cases of transmission. As of this week, November 22, Minneapolis has been in the substantial transmission category. The MPRB will continue to monitor transmission data and follow Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and CDC guidelines.
