Description
Here's the story: we rescued her a few months ago from a farm out East where she and her litter mate were were escaping from the property right by a busy county road and the owner was worried they would be killed by a car. We took both of them in at our own expense with the intent to find her a great home eventually.
Several monrhs.later, after being put on a high-quality diet, she's put on
weight and has had had vet care and scheduled vaccines, and even has has had introductory training (with a certified trainer) and knows basic commands and a few tricks. She has separation anxiety and will require a family who is home a lot (at least until she settles.in). This is a foster dog who now has been socialized and assessed to adopt out
Prey-drive is high but will need continued training by someone who knows the breed. Cats area no-no but otherwise is friendly with all other people and does great with smaller dogs and kids (although she'sstill working on jumping). She is a couch dog that sleeps with my son at night and is kenneled during the day.
Rehomimg fee applied to cover cost of training, her kennel, leash and harness and a weeks' worth of current diet.
