This is two days too early, but I think it would be wise to say Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you all have fully bellies and happy gatherings of family and friends! Let us forget about politics and racism. Let us try to catch the turkey who is trying to run from the roasting pan and oven. Let us remember when making deviled eggs, that there’s that one person who either steals one before the dinner, sets of “silent but deadly” ass bombs, or both. Let us remember the pets planning on snatching one of the food items on the table and booking it out of the room. Let us remember that one individual who is determined to protect the whole entire pumpkin pie from others who wants a slice upon desert time. Let us remember to sober up before jumping in our vehicles to head home. Let us remember our food allergies and the strict diet plans the doctor orders. Let us remember our Black Friday’s safety, budgets, and sale discounts. Let us celebrate birthdays before, on, and after Thanksgiving. Let us watch Macy’s Thanksgiving parade. Let us find a football game on the tv while waiting for the big meal. Let us play card games, board games, and a game of football in the front yard. Let us try to convince our loved ones, (like myself) to not decorate our homes until the 1st (I decorated mine yesterday -fail). Let us help that loved one decorate if we can’t convince them. Let us help others in our community. Let us donate food to local food banks or volunteer in soup kitchens. Let us remember Thanksgiving 2021. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! May it be a good one!!
