Here are the top stories in Grand Rapids today: Littlefoot Coffee Roasters has launched a sock drive with a goal to donate 500 pairs of socks to area homeless shelters this holiday season. Their first annual Littlefoot Sock Drive began on Saturday and will run through through Dec. 20, with drop boxes in multiple locations across Grand Rapids. Donations can also be made online, with all money raised going towards the purchase of new socks for community shelters. (grbj.com)A woman pleaded guilty to a charge of riot during a status conference on Monday and in exchange, a charge of arson of personal property will be dropped. Kylia Brooks is among 22 people who were charged in the May 30, 2020, riot. Brooks' sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 31.
