Description
PIMA COUNTY, AZ — Students at Mountain View High School just north of Tucson were ordered to shelter in place this afternoon, according to an alert sent to parents.
The shelter in place order began around 1:30 p.m. after a student with a weapon was reported to school administration. Students were released on time Tuesday afternoon and there was no active threat to the community at that time but The Pima County Sheriff's Department is still investigating.
Mountain View is in the Marana Unified School District.
