Green Shoebox Band is a group of musician friends that enjoy sharing original and popular music in a fresh new way. Several of us played together for years for events such as the Olathe Summer Concert Series (with Liverpool Beatles Tribute Band), Johnson County Old Settlers, Plaza Art Fair, ABATE Bikers Rally, Governor’s Freedom Ride, Kansas Freedom Fest, Olathe Arts Festival, Plaza Summer Concert Series, Knuckleheads and many popular venues in the Kansas City Area. We have been very active as a trio since COVID, but we are ready to start booking the full band again in 2022. We play a variety of classic and modern rock with unique instrumentation so versatility and flexibility is important. We do not want to be a typical cover band playing songs just like the originals. We have a strong female lead vocalist/guitarist and would like members that can add background vocals and play multiple instruments if possible.
