We are immediately seeking full time handlers who can help supervise our daycare and boarding dogs throughout the day! We are located Fort Worth just outside of Benbrook. This job involves managing groups of dogs to ensure they are provided with a safe and secure play environment. The goal of dog daycare is to help dogs get plenty of exercise, socialization, and love. Our main goal is that they go home happy, healthy, and Tired. We prefer applicants that live close to the facility! We are located in zip code 76116 so residents of Benbrook or West Fort Worth are ideal! The most qualified candidates for a position at our facility will have the following characteristics. *Most important-Must have a passion for dogs. *Professional experience in handling dogs (ideally has a background in dog daycare/boarding/kennel tech, vet tech, rescue volunteer, dog trainer, and so on) *Professionalism (both in communicating and in personal appearance) in talking with customers *Must be comfortable with dogs of all sizes *Must be willing to clean. Majority of this position is cleaning and maintaining a healthy environment for our dogs. If you hate cleaning then this job is not for you. *Must be able to lift 50lbs *Must be able to work some Holidays *Responsible, reliable, and prompt. *High energy personality with a positive flair. Our dogs feed off of our staff's personality so no negative attitudes or Debby downers allowed. We need people that are going to love walking into the facility each day. *MUST ALWAYS BE ON TIME. Job Duties will include but not limited to *General cleaning and sanitation. Cleaning is non-stop at a dog daycare and boarding facility to ensure a healthy environment. This will be sweeping, mopping, dusting, windows, and ceiling fans, scrubbing walls and cages, and so on. *Feeding and watering dogs. As well as administering medication if needed. *Poop scooping the yards. *Light receptionist duties including answering the phones, scheduling appointments, and very light computer work. Pay is $10.00-$12.00 an hour based on experience. With the available positions we have this could be just a fun part time job or you can potentially turn it into a career.
